2019-20 (Senior):
His first goal of the season came at UNH (11.2)...Scored the final goal of the game at No. 12 Northeastern (12.14)...Missed a chunk of the season with an injury.
2018-19 (Junior):
Appeared in 21 games... His first goal of the season came against Harvard on Oct. 27, tying the game 4-4 early in the third period...Picked up his first assist at Princeton (1.12)...Scored Dartmouth's 7th goal in Game 3 against SLU (3.10).
2017-18 (Sophomore):
Scored his 1st goal in the season opener at Holy Cross on 10.27...Assisted on Collin Rutherford’s goal at RPI (2.9)... Assisted on Collin Rutherford’s 1st goal in comeback win vs. SLU (2.17)...Final point of the season was an assist on Cam Strong’s Game 1 goal at Harvard.
2016-17 (Freshman):
Appeared in 21 games, scoring 3 goals and adding 6 assists for a total of 9 points in his first season for the Big Green...Added the first assist of his career in a home victory vs. Michigan on Oct. 29...Scored his first collegiate goal at Thompson Arena vs. Harvard on Jan. 17, and also had an assist in the game...Recorded two assists in a 4-2 win at Cornell on Jan. 28.
Before Dartmouth:
Another one of the incoming forwards from the Land of Lincoln, Ryan played the last two seasons for the Chicago Steel where he was a teammate of current Big Green players Connor Yau and John Ernsting. As a rookie, he played in all but one contest, registering 31 points. In that first year with Chicago, he and his Steel teammates competed in the Junior Club World Cup (Russia) where they captured a Bronze Medal. Early in his second season, Blankemeier was traded to the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL), where in 54 regular season games he tallied 29 points. Despite a first-round exit in the Clark Cup Playoffs he led his team in goals (4). Before his days in the USHL, Ryan played his minor hockey for the Chicago Young Americans (HPHL). In three years with CYA, he recorded a scoring line of 35-35-70. He was also selected to participate in the 2013 USA Hockey Select-17 Festival.
Personal: Ryan is the son of William and Julie Blankemeier and has two sisters and a brother...Grandfather, Don, is a Dartmouth Class of '48...Enjoys the outdoors, music, and reading...Plays the piano and guitar.
