Schuyler Harting joined the Dartmouth Strength and Conditioning staff as an assistant in March 2019.
In his current role, Schuyler is responsible for the strength and conditioning of Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, and Men’s and Women’s Golf.
From 2019-2021, Schuyler was responsible for planning and implementing strength and conditioning activities for Dartmouth Field Hockey, Diving, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Sailing, Squash, and Equestrian while also assisting with Football. In the Fall of 2021, Schuyler took on responsibility of strength and conditioning for both Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse at Dartmouth.
Prior to arriving at Dartmouth, Schuyler spent time at Robert Morris University (Pa.) as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, leading women’s soccer and men’s soccer, while also assisting with football, men’s ice hockey, and men’s lacrosse.
Schuyler was a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of West Georgia for the 2018 Fall semester, leading women’s basketball and women’s soccer, while assisting with the Wolves football team.
He served as an intern at Western Michigan University, working directly with the Bronco football program in the Summer of 2018. Prior to this he interned at his alma mater Shippensburg University during the 2017-2018 academic year primarily working with football, field hockey, baseball, and women’s lacrosse.
Schuyler also has experience in the private sector as a performance coach at Power Train Sports and Fitness in Carlisle, where he created and implemented strength programs for a variety of athletes from 2016-2018
Outside of strength & conditioning, Harting was a member of the SU Football team from 2013-16. He played in all 33 games in his three varsity seasons, making 29 starts. Harting earned All-PSAC Second Team honors as a sophomore.
Harting is certified through the NCSA (CSCS) and CSCCa (SCCC). He is currently certified in CPR, AED and First Aid.
Harting, a native of Myerstown Pa, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Coaching in May 2018.
