Bio
Senior (2017-18): Served as one of three captains, competed in 13 matches, winning 11 total for a near perfect record on the year… took wins against No. 4 Columbia, No. 7 Princeton, No. 9 Yale and No. 13 Brown in Ivy action… against No. 6 Penn, took his opponent to five games to rebound after dropping the third and fourth games, winning in five… helped Dartmouth to a No. 5 finish on the year with wins over Princeton and Rochester in the Potter Cup.
Junior (2016-17): Competed in 15 matches at the No. 8 and No. 9 positions… won nine matches…. defeated his George Washington opponent to help propel the Big Green to Hoehn Cup finals.
Sophomore (2015-16): Competed in three positions… won 11 of 14 matches played… started the season 4-0… won his last four matches of the season… 6-2 in Ivy League play.
Freshman (2014-15): Finished his first season with the Big Green competing in 16 matches with a record of 6-10… competed in positions No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8… had a winning record in spot No. 7 and went 3-5 at No. 8.
Before Dartmouth: A four-year letterwinner at nationally-ranked SCH Academy. Giegerich finished in the top 16 at the U.S. Nationals as a senior and was named All-Inter-AC First Team and All-MASA as a junior and senior. He is a member of the Cum Laude Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Gary and Diana Giegerich… has one brother and one sister… his brother Matthew is also a member of the Dartmouth men's squash team… his father Gary was a four-year wrestler at Penn… plans to study economics with a career in business… enjoys golf and kayaking.
