Bio
Ashley Malenchak comes to Dartmouth out of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. She is a graduate of Arthur Meighen High School and a multi-sport athlete. She played fastpitch, badminton, basketball, and volleyball for her alma mater but pursued squash outside of school. In 2003 and 2004 she took first place in the Manitoba Junior Olympics in the U15, U17, and U19 divisions. In 2004 she came in second place in the U19 bracket in the Ottawa and district competition, and in 2003 Ashley came in first with her team at the Junior Pan American Games.
Beyond athletics, Ashley was a model student. She was put on the Principal's Honor Roll from 2001-2004 and held an academic average of 90+. While at Dartmouth Ashely plans on getting a degree in Science and pursuing a career in Medicine.
Her parents are Jim and Rose Malenchak and she has two sisters.
