Maddie Omana joined Dartmouth Athletics in January 2025 as the assistant director of strategic communications. She serves as the primary contact for women’s soccer, M/W cross country, M/W squash, M/W track & field, and women’s lacrosse.

Omana began her career at UCF Athletics, where she was a strategic communications intern. She produced written and visual content and assisted with game day operations for multiple sports.

In the summer of 2024, Omana worked with the United Soccer League as a communications intern. She was responsible for producing weekly articles leading up to the USL Super League’s inaugural season.

Prior to graduation, Omana served as the assistant sports editor at The Charge, UCF’s student publication. She primarily edited football and volleyball stories and helped the sports section reach 300 published stories in one semester.

In December 2024, Omana graduated with her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in digital media.
