Ali Blumenthal is in her sixth season as an Assistant Coach with the Dartmouth sailing team for the 2020-21 season.

She comes to Hanover after serving as the Head Opti Coach for the Bellport Sailing Foundation in Bellport, New York. There she coached the Optimist Race Team and developed lesson plans for all Optimist classes.

Blumenthal was also a coach for the College of Charleston Development Sailing Team, which finished in first place at the inaugural developmental regatta in Oriental, North Carolina.

Blumenthal is a 2015 graduate of the College of Charleston where she was a co-captain from 2013 to 2015. In 2012, Blumenthal was a member of the team that took first place at the APS Team Race National Championship. In 2013, her squad took first at the ICSA Coed National Championship.
