Zoë Hoctor joined the Big Green in August of 2025 as an assistant coach.
Hoctor, who graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland this past May, was a two-time MAISA Crew of the Year finalist and first team All-MAISA open crew with the Seahawks.
While a student-athlete at St. Mary’s, Hoctor also served as a summer coach at the New Bedford Yacht Club, acting as the head 420 race coach and an assistant director. This past summer, Hoctor worked at the Nantucket Yacht Club, also as the head 420 race coach.
In 2024, Hoctor coached athletes to the c420 National Championship. She also led teams that placed in the top-five at North Americans in 2023, the Orange Bowl in 2023, and Nationals in 2025.
