Before Dartmouth: Greco was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and outdoor track at Hopewell Valley Central High School ... lettered twice in indoor track, and served as captain of all three sports her senior year ... during her time at Hopewell Valley Central, Marissa's teams won numerous championships including three outdoor track state championships and two indoor track state championships ... was the secretary for the National Honor Society as well as a Special Olympics volunteer.
Personal: Marissa is the daughter of Mark and Alena Greco and has one brother ... at Dartmouth, Marissa plans to major in environmental studies and biology, and pursue a career as either an environmentalist or healthcare professional.

Q & A with Marissa
Why Dartmouth?
I wanted to run at Dartmouth because it has a competetive running program that balances academics and sports well. The trails here are amazing and the community is very outdoors oriented.
How long have you been running cross country and what got you interested in cross country?
I've been running cross country since 6th grade. I've always liked to run and my dad, who used to run, told me I should give it a try. I've loved it ever since!
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I also love to ski and I love water sports like waterskiing and kneeboarding.
What are your future plans, if any?
I'm majoring in Environmental Studies and Minoring in Public Policy. After I graduate I would like to attend graduate school in Ecology/Public Policy or pursue a Health Career.
