She is interested in studying biology or psychology in and participate in the DOC club.
Before Dartmouth:
Wenzel was a two year letterwinner in swimming and water polo, and a three year letterwinner in soccer at Mission San Jose High School. Sophomore and junior year she competed in the Mission Valley Athletic League in both swimming and water polo where her team had undefeated records. Senior year she was selected as 2nd-Team All-League Goalie for water polo. Outside of athletics, she was an elected delegate of the American Legion Girls State.
Personal:
Shelley is the daughter of Richard and Ruth Wenzel, she has one brother. Her father, Richard and her brother, Drew both attended Dartmouth.
