Before Dartmouth: Kennedy was a five-time letterwinner in cross country and outdoor track and she was a two-time letterwinner in indoor track at Canandaigua Academy... Her junior and senior year she was the captain of the cross country team and then her senior year she was also captain of the indoor and outdoor track teams... Kennedy's freshman and sophomore years her team placed 1st in the cross country Section 5 Championship... Her sophomore year her team got 1st in the Outdoor Track Section 5 Championships and then her junior year her team placed 1st in the Indoor Track Section 5 Championship... Her junior and senior year she won the Indoor Track 3000m and her junior year was part of the 4x800m relay that placed first in the Section 5 Cahmpionship....That same year she won the Outdoor Track 1500m... Kennedy's sophomore-senior year was placed on the All-Greater Rochester 1st Team... Her junior and senior year she was named Daily Messenger Runner of the Year and was a Top-Ten State Championship Finisher... Kennedy was also a New York State Scholar Athlete
Personal: Kennedy is the daughter of Peter and Jerri Jensen... She has one brother... Her cousin Taylor D'Amore played 4 years of college lacrosse at John Hopkins and cousins Lauren and Kendall D'Amore are freshman lacrosse players at Penn.
