McNerney or “Mac” made her presence know from the beginning of the season. Between her performances and those of Kelsey Wiegmann ’06, the high jump record was tied, set and broken on numerous occasions. For McNerney, a third-place finish at the Indoor Heps was the highlight of the winter season. It was youth versus experience and going through that within her team allowed her to developed great focus and drive. To cap off the outdoor season, she was crowned the New England Champion with a leap of 5-8 3/4.
