Kaitlin Sweeney is in her third season as the strength and conditioning coach for the football program. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist who also works with women’s hockey, men's and women's lacrosse and women's crew.
She came to Dartmouth following two seasons at Wisconsin-La Crosse as a graduate assistant.
From 2001-2006, she was a strength and conditioning coach for student-athletes at High Performance Sports in Peabody, Mass., and at her alma mater of Ithaca College. She also interned with Cornell and Georgia Tech, along with being a conditioning specialist for professional athletes.
She recently earned her master's in exercise and sports science, human performance and strength and conditioning at Wisconsin-La Crosse. Sweeney is a 2006 graduate of Ithaca where she earned her bachelor's in clinical exercise science with a minor in nutrition promotion.
At Ithaca, Sweeney was a four-year member of the women's soccer team, a first team all-conference performer and was named to the NSCAA All-Region Team.
She has also been a nutritionist at Ithaca and has worked in various fitness facilities as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor.
