Lions and Tigers and "Bears". The Big Green football team won its 19th overall Ivy title with a win at Brown last week, in large part to junior Derek Kyler who led the team down the field twice in the fourth quarter for a come-from-behind win over the Bears. At home on the ice in Thompson arena, freshman CC Bowlby had three-points in a 5-2 victory over the Bears of the University of Maine.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Cape Air Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Cape Air Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

CC Bowlby, Fr., Edina, Minn., F, Women's Hockey

Freshman CC Bowlby had the first three-point performance of her career in Dartmouth's 5-2 victory over Maine on Saturday. With the score knotted at 2 apiece in the second period Bowlby scored a shorthanded goal with an assist from Gabby Billings for the eventual game-winner. The Big Green followed that up with two power play goals for the 5-2, final. The native of Edina, Minnesota picked up the helpers on two power-play tallies while scoring the game winner and the team's first shorthanded goal of the year. She currently leads the team in goals (4) and points (8).
