The Big Green field hockey team wrapped up the fall season with an impressive 3-1 win over the Columbia Lions on senior day. First year athlete Lucia Campano scored the first two goals of the game enroute to the victory. Meanwhile the men’s hockey team played their first game of the season earning a tie with the Harvard Crimson. Second year goalkeeper Cooper Black kept 25 Harvard pucks out of the net to keep the score knotted at one.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

Lucia Campano, Fy., Buenos Aires, Argentina, M, Field Hockey
Campaño wrapped up her sensational rookie season by scoring the Big Green's first two goals of the game in a 3-1 win over Columbia. It marked her first-career multi-goal game and fifth time in six games with a goal, posting six goals in that span. Campaño ended her rookie season with 19 points via eight goals and three assists. Campano's five goals in conference play are tied for third in the Ivy League. As a team, Dartmouth picked up its second Ivy League win of the season for the first time since 2018. The Big Green defeated Columbia by multiple goals for the first time since 2015 and ended 2023 with two multi-goal Ivy wins in the same season for the first time since 2014.
