The Big Green hockey teams have started 2020 on a positive note. The men won the Ledyard classic to wrap up 2019, beating UConn in the final before traveling to Princeton for a 4-3 overtime win the following weekend. Drew O'Connor scored the winner in overtime. Freshman Celine Pietraszek had her first multi-point game in a shutout win over RPI.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Cape Air Athletes of the Week.

Celine Pietraszek, Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo., F, Women's Hockey

Celine Pietraszek had her first multi-point game, scoring Dartmouth’s second and fourth goals in the 4-0 victory over RPI on Friday. Her first goal in the opening stanza had to have a video review to confirm it, while there was no doubt her one-timer early in the third got past the goalie. The Big Green had an 1-0-1 weekend following the win over RPI, coming back from a three-goal deficit to tie Union on Saturday night.
