Meanwhile, sophomore Luke Haymes recorded his first collegiate hat trick on Friday evening to lead the men’s hockey team to a 5-1 victory over fellow Ivy League school Princeton.

The sophomore forward played a key role for the Big Green this past weekend, especially in the win on Friday against the Princeton Tigers. Haymes became the first Dartmouth player to earn a hat trick in nearly four years and followed that up with another goal on Saturday against No. 7 Quinnipiac, making it eight goals in the last five games. Haymes was also named the ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week, his first weekly award of the season.
