John Steel Hagenbuch was dominant during the Big Green’s EISA Championship this past weekend, coming off his first Olympic appearance representing Team USA. Hagenbuch opened the weekend with a win in the 7.5K classic race, crossing the finish line 1:05 faster than the second- place finisher. He followed with a win in the 20K freestyle by a margin of 1:55. Hagenbuch led the Big Green men to podium sweeps in both events and the 2026 EISA Championship, the second straight for the Big Green. With the two wins this weekend, Hagenbuch finished the 2026 EISA season with three overall wins and was named an All-East First Team honoree.
