HANOVER, N.H. -- The defending Division III national champion Middlebury men's tennis team came to Hanover to challenge the Big Green, but Dartmouth proved too powerful and came away with a 5-2 victory on Thursday evening at the Boss Tennis Center.
Wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots helped the Big Green take the doubles point. In singles, senior co-captain Dave Webb (Toronto, Ont.) knocked off Middlebury's top gun, 6-4, 6-2. Fellow co-captain Andres Reyes (Lexington, Mass), senior Priya Sahu (Athens, Ala.) and sophomore Travis Maiers (Atlanta, Ga.) all brought home victories to lift the Green to the 5-2 triumph.
