HAMBURG, N.J. -- The Dartmouth men's golf team put together a final round 298, taking sixth place at the 54-hole Ivy League championship that concluded Sunday.
Princeton easily won the team title with 862, 31 strokes ahead of runner-up Cornell. The Big Green's total was 916.
Dartmouth freshman Jamie Wallace (Moorestown, N.J.) had the team's best showing, finishing in a tie for 10th with 224 (76-79-69). Tied for 16th was junior Chaki Kobayashi (Newington, Conn.) with 226 (79-74-73).
Medalist honors went to Princeton's Creighton Page with 71-71-69--210 in the tournament played at Ballyowen Golf Club.
Also competing for Dartmouth were sophomore Matt Uretsky (Linwood, N.J.), 79-76-75--230; sophomore Steve Reyes (Lake Forest, Ill.), 76-79-81--236; and freshman Chris Crawford (Englewood, Colo.), 89-82-82--253.
The Big Green's next tournament is the District 1 championship on April 23-24.
