HANOVER, N.H. -- The Dartmouth men's and women's squash teams both posted victories over Cornell on Saturday.
The men's match went to the Big Green by a 5-4 score and was decided at No. 1 by Andrew Boumford (Winnipeg, Man.). The freshmandefeated Cornell's Matt Serediak in five games, 3-2, to give Dartmouth the win.
The Big Green, now 7-3 on the year, also picked up victories at No. 3 where senior Hank Alexander (Cincinnati, Ohio) won, 3-0, and at No. 6 where sophomore Adam King (Oromocto, N.B.) also had a 3-0 decision.
Dartmouth's other points came at Nos. 8-9, where freshman Eben Clattenburg (Springfield, Vt.) and freshman Tyler Young (Charleston, S.C.) both enjoyed 3-1 wins.
The Big Green women cruised over the Big Red with a 9-0 victory with eight of the nine matches decided in three games.
At No. 1, Dartmouth senior Julia Drury (Buffalo, N.Y.) went four games, defeating Cornell's Maxi Prinsen, 9-3, 6-9, 9-3, 9-0.
The Big Green women now have a 5-3 record.
