HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth's men's swimming and diving team won five events this afternoon, including sophomore Andrew Berry's two wins in the diving events, but it wasn't enough as Princeton took the meet, 144.5-92.5.
Also earning first place honors for the Big Green were freshmen Andrew Ballentine (Pendleton, Ind.) and Kevin Ellis (Centennial, Colo.) and senior Kemper Diehl (West Windsor, N.J.)
Berry (Middleton, Wis.) won the three-meter event with a score of 279.53 and the one-meter event with 299.92 points.
Ballentine won the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:15.13, holding on down the stretch against a charging Robert Griest from Princeton, who finished just .43 behind the winner.
Ellis took first in the 200 free with a time of 1:44.03. Diehl won the 50 free in 21.98 seconds, while teammate Drew Wenzel (Fremont, Calif.) finished close behind to give Dartmouth a one-two finish in the event.
Today's meet closed out the regular season for the Big Green, which returns to action on March 2-4 at the EISL Championship from Long Island, N.Y.
