On October 7-8 at the Hap Moore regatta at Coast Guard, the sailors posted a 13-3 record to take second place in the 12-school field. Competing for Dartmouth were senior Kate Hacker (Greenville, Del.), senior Killarney Loufek (Costa Mesa, Calif.), junior Betsy Bryant (Tampa, Fla.), senior Andrew Loe (Baton Rouge, La.), senior Erik Storck (Huntington, N.Y.) and junior Ben Sampson (Plymouth, Mass.). At the Ivy League Championship at Princeton, the Big Green earned the runner-up spot again. Freshman Matty Cohen (Milford, Conn.) and senior Jimmy Attridge (Annapolis, Md.) won "A" division. In "B" division, freshman Cindy Kahlenberg (Bethesda, Md.) and junior Luke Hathaway (Dartmouth, Mass.) were fifth. At the Metro Series hosted by Boston University, Dartmouth was sixth of nine teams, and the Big Green women were 10th at the Women's Navy Fall regatta.
