HANOVER, N.H. -- The Princeton Tigers took a pair of squash victories on Saturday, defeating the Dartmouth men, 9-0, and the Dartmouth women, 7-2.
Senior Julia Drury (Buffalo, N.Y.), playing at No. 2, knocked off Princeton's Casey Riley in five games, 3-9, 7-9, 9-3, 9-5, 9-1. Dartmouth earned its other point at No. 3 where sophomore Rebecca Loucks (Boston, Mass.) outlasted Lena Neufeld, 6-9, 7-9, 9-5, 10-8, 9-3.
The Big Green, 10-4 on the year and 2-3 in the Ivy League, had two other five game losses by sophomore Ashley Malenchak (Portage la Prairie, Man.) at No. 1 and freshman Madeline Lurio (Marion, Pa.) at No. 8.
The Dartmouth men had a pair of matches stretch to four games. Senior Hank Alexander (Cincinnati, Ohio) and freshman Ted Newhouse (Bronxville, N.Y.) fell at Nos. 3 and 4. Dartmouth's record is 13-5 overall and 2-3 in the Ivies.
The Big Green returns to action on Sunday, hosting Penn.
