HANOVER, N.H. -- Junior Fatih Stanley (North York, Ont.) won his specialties again as the Dartmouth men's track and field team hosted its own invitational on Saturday.
Stanley easily won the 200 meters in 21.99 and edged sophomore teammate Brian Evans (Fairfield, Texas) in the 100. Stanley's time was 10.73 and Evans was next in 10.87. Stanley won both events at the UNH Invitational on April 15.
Also victorious were junior Daniel Obaseki (Queens Village, N.Y.), 1:56.78 in the 800; freshman Alan Shanoski (Novi, Mich.), 6-4 in the high jump; sophomore Derrick Vinklarek (Shiner, Texas), 15-6 1/4 in the pole vault; and junior Rob Kerris (Elysburg, Pa.), 50-2 3/4 in the shot put.
Two former Dartmouth All-Americans competed unattached. Mustafa Abdur-Rahim won the long jump with 22-11 and Sean Furey had a winning throw of 220-5 in the javelin.
Next on the calendar, several Dartmouth athletes will compete at the Penn Relays, April 27-29.
