Norfolk, Va. - The Dartmouth doubles team of Jesse Adler (Winnetka, Ill.) and Mary Beth Winingham (Carmel, Ind.) moved into the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals at Old Dominion with an 8-4 victory over Temple's Elyse Steiner and Dina Senkina.
Adler and Winingham, who are unseeded, will play the fourth seeded team of Lindsey Pereira and Maggie Yahner from the University of Virginia tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. The duo has already knocked out the tournament's fourth-seed en route to the final eight in the 64-team bracket.
In singles senior Megan Zebroski (Port Washington, N.Y.) lost to the 13th seed Klaudyna Kasztelaniec of William and Mary in the 2nd round.
After receiving a first round bye freshman Molly Scott (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.), the 19th seed, defeated Laura Burns of Virginia Commonwealth University 7-5,6-4. In the 3rd round Scott dropped a long three set match to the 7th seed Melissa Saiontz of Princeton 1-6,6-4,6-4.
