HANOVER, N.H. ? Senior diver Andrew Berry (Middleton, Wis.) opened Dartmouth's 2007-08 swimming and diving season, scoring a pair of victories on Friday evening.
Berry easily won the three-meter event with a point total of 298.50, more than 18 ahead of his nearest competitor. He followed that up with a five-point victory on the one-meter board with 286.65.
Freshman Mike Brown (Newton, Mass.) was third in one-meter diving with his score of 256.70.
The Cornell 200 medley relay team of Phil Baity, Nick Campbell, Wes Newman and Brad Gorter set a Karl Michael Pool record with 1:32.46.
Harvard won both ends of the double dual meet, defeating Cornell, 161-139, and Dartmouth, 226-72. The Big Red was victorious over the Big Green, 228-70.
The Big Green returns to action on Sunday, hosting Colgate in a combined meet with the Dartmouth women.
