Dartmouth Women's Sailing Eighth at Dellenbaugh
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Dartmouth women's sailing team was eighth at Brown's Dellenbaugh Trophy on April 14-15.
A total of 28 races were held as the Big Green earned 207 points. St. Mary's won the 15-team event with 94.
In B division, senior
Kate Hacker (Greenville, Del.) and junior
Adele Wilhelm (Chicago, Ill.) earned 94 points to take sixth place. A pair of freshmen,
Becca Dellenbaugh (Easton, Conn.) and
Steph Gagnon (Westerly, R.I.), combined for 113 points, good for eighth place in the A division.
At Kings Point, N.Y., Dartmouth was 14th in the Admiral's Cup competition. Seniors
Erik Storck (Huntington, N.Y.) and
Killarney Loufek (Costa Mesa, Calif.) had the best showing, taking fourth place in A division.
At the Moody Trophy hosted by the University of Rhode Island, Dartmouth was 15th.
