Dartmouth Men's Golf Leads After First Day at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's golf team is in first place after the first round of the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. The Big Green were ahead of Central Connecticut by three strokes as Davis Mullany (Great Barrington, Mass.) was -1 on the day.
Competing at Hanover Country Club, the Big Green has an 18-hole total of 294 as Mullany shot a 70. Junior Dave Putney (Unionville, Conn.) was next with 73 and a tie for fifth.
Dartmouth leads the nine-team field as Central Connecticut (297), Fordham (301), Holy Cross (306) and Dartmouth's "B" squad (312) round out the top-five.
The Invitational continues Sunday at Hanover CC.
