Round One Results

PROVIDENCE, R.I. ? The Dartmouth men's golf team finished round one of the New England Championship in the sixth spot after shooting a solid 306 at the par-72 Triggs Golf Club.

The Big Green is sixth after round one as Yale had the day's low score at 290. Dartmouth is 16 shots off the lead.

Freshman Davis Mullany (Great Barrington, Mass.) had the low score for the Big Green with an opening round of 73 for seventh place overall and five shot off the lead. Senior Jamie Wallace (Moorestown, N.J.) fired a first round 75 for 15th overall and just two shots from Mullany.

Rounding out the Big Green's five competitors were junior Rob Henley (Longmeadow, Mass.) 37-42-79; sophomore Dan Egan (Rye, N.Y.) 41-38-79; freshman Ryan Choi (Carlsbad, Calif.) 40-44-84.
