Dartmouth's Jesse Adler Captures Flight Title at NTC Invitational

FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. - Dartmouth senior co-captain Jesse Adler (Winnetka, Ill.) defeated Harvard freshman Alex Lehman 6-4, 6-0 to capture the D singles flight at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center College Invite today.
In her second bid for a flight title, Adler and freshman Sarah Leonard (Norwalk, Conn.) were stopped short in their B flight doubles bid by the Princeton tandem of Blakely Ashley and Rachel Saiontz, who won 8-3. Sophomore Shelley Carpeni (New York, N.Y.) and freshman Jeri Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C) also lost 8-3 in the D flight doubles final to Brown's Julie Flanzer and Marisa Schonfeld.
Next up for the Big Green is ITA Regionals at Yale, beginning Oct. 23 in New Haven.
