vs Dartmouth Invite #1

HANOVER N.H. - A tough match for the Dartmouth men this evening vs. UNC Greensboro. The doubles seem to set the tone for the night.
The Big Green won at the No. 2 spot with senior captain Ari Gayer (Hollis, N.Y.) and sophomore Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.), but lost 8-6 at the No. 1 slot and the No. 3 position. Dropping two doubles points turned out to come back and hurt Dartmouth.
The Big Green won at the even spots with Roby toughing it out at No. 2 in three sets. Unfortunately, the odd positions were not up to the task. The closest was freshman Chris Ho (Los Altos, Calif.) who dropped a very close and emotional three setter. He certainly will be better for the experience gained in his very first Dartmouth duel match.
Tomorrow will start early at the Boss Tennis Center with UNCG going against Army at 9 a.m. and then vs. University of Binghamton at 1 p.m. The Big Green will take the courts at 5 p.m., where they will face Binghamton.
