Awards Continue to Pour in for Rookie Golfer

HANOVER, N.H. - Freshman golfer Peter Williamson (Hanover, N.H.) added another award to an already full shelf as the rookie was recently named to the PING All-Region team.
Williamson turned in a stellar first-year campaign for Dartmouth as he was tabbed the inaugural Ivy League Player of the Year as well as the Rookie of the Year. Williamson beat Princeton's Eric Salazar in a three-hole playoff during the Ivy League Championships to become the fourth Big Green golfer to claim the Ivy title.
Dartmouth finished fourth in the Northeast Invitational prior to the Ivy League Championships as Williamson finished second. Williamson was one of six Ivy Leaguer's to be named to the All-Northeast squad.
