Dartmouth Women's Squash Drops Two on Saturday

NEW HAVEN, HARTFORD, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's squash team had a less than auspicious start to the new year, falling 9-0 to both Yale, at the Brady Squash Center in New Haven and Trinity, at the Kellner Squash Center, on Saturday.

The win improved the Bulldogs' season record to 3-1, including 1-1 in the Ivy League. Dartmouth fell to 1-3, 0-2 Ivy while Trinity improved to 3-0.

The ninth-ranked Big Green won two games against the fourth-ranked Bulldogs as Corey Schafer at No. 2 and Libbey Brown at No. 4 each were competitive against their Yale opponents. Eighteenth-ranked Valeria Wiens at No. 1 pushed Trinity's Nayelly Hernandez to five games in the second match of the day.

Dartmouth returns to action on Jan. 17 with matches at Williams and Amherst.
