PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dartmouth women's squash team closed out the regular
season part of its schedule with a 7-2 Ivy League win over Brown on Saturday in
Providence. The Big Green now takes to the Howe Cup, Feb. 26-28 at Yale.
Dartmouth won spots 1-7 to defeat the Bears and win its first Ivy League match
of the season. Both
Corey Schafer and
Sarah Loucks won their sets in three while
Brown was able to win games at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 7.
The toughest match of the day for the Big Green seemed to come at No. 3 when Rebecca
Lau had to go five games against Sarah Crosky before pulling out the victory and
ensuring her team would win the match. The win improves Dartmouth to 4-8 overall,
1-6 in the Ivy League.
