HANOVER, NH - The Dartmouth women's tennis team raised its record to 8-1 with a dominating 7-0 win against the University of Southern New Hampshire today at the Boss Tennis Center.
At No. 1 singles senior Mary Beth Winingham won 7-5, 6-4 over Amber Chandronnait, a transfer from the University of Nebraska who is now the country's No. 27-ranked Division II player. And junior Georgiana Smyser needed three sets at No. 3 singles to defeat Alena Mukdaprakorn, a transfer from Temple University. The Big Green won the rest of its matches handily.
The Big Green will be in action again at home tomorrow vs. Quinnipiac University at 12 noon.
