Dartmouth Men's Squash Drops Match to Princeton

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's squash team is still looking for that elusive first Ivy League victory as the Big Green fell to Princeton, 9-0 on Saturday at the Berry Sports Center.

The win moves the Tigers to 8-2, 4-1 in the Ivy League while Dartmouth falls to 8-6, 0-4 Ivy. Five of Princeton's nine starters won 3-0 matches but at No. No. 6, No. 8 and No. 9, Dartmouth gave the Tigers all they could handle.

Luke Lee took the first game at No. 6 against Kelly Shannon but Shannon rallied to win the next 11-1. Lee won the third, 11-8 but couldn't hold on as Shannon rallied for 11-8 and 11-6 wins. At No. 8, Ted Schroeder took the first and third but Nikhil Seth was able to win the final two, taking the match, 3-2. At No. 9 Daniel Wagman won the first, 11-7 but allowed Philip Sopher to come back, taking the next three for the win.

Dartmouth will be back in action on Feb. 13 with its final Ivy match of the season at Brown.
