All three athletes received All-America status recently. Hanson and Wiens were chosen first team while Sisodia was named second team. It's the first time in the history of men's squash that the Big Green has had two players named in the same season and it's first time a rookie earned the All-America title since Ryan Donegan in 2002.
Hanon earns his first All-Ivy award and is Dartmouth's first since Donegan in 2004-05. Wiens gives the Big Green their first All-Ivy selection since Sarah West in 2001-02.
Hanson finished the season with an 8-3 record, competing as Dartmouth's top player all year. He earned four wins in the CSA Individual Championships, making it to the consolation finals of the Pool Division. Sisodia had a 6-4 record at the No. 2 spot for the Big Green. He won the consolation finals of the Pool division after losing in the opening draw to the eventual national champion from Harvard, Colin West.
Wiens is Dartmouth's first female All-America honoree since Julia Drury in 2005. She is also the first freshman to be named since Lauren Sykes in 1996. The Big Green has had just eight players earn the title while only four freshmen have ever been honored.
