Equestrian Finishes Third at Ivy Championship

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth equestrian team competed at the Ivy Championship on Sunday at Cornell and finished third behind Brown and the host Big Red. The Bears finished first with Cornell second and Dartmouth third out of a field of eight.
The Big Green had two named Reserve High Point Rider with Sarah Spangenberg in intermediate flat and Rochele Brown in walk, trot, canter. Spangenberg also finished second in her event, novice fences while Brown was second in walk, trot, canter.
Placing first for Dartmouth was Kelly Tropin in open flat and Baljir Baatartogtokh in beginning walk, trot, canter. Trevy Wing was second in walk, trot.
The Big Green is off until April 30 when Dartmouth hosts its own show at the Dartmouth Riding Center. Spangenberg is also gearing up to compete at Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky on May 5.
