HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth junior
Peter Williamson was one of 25 golfers to be named to the Division I PING All-Region Team from the Northeast as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America this week. A total of 152 golfers from across the six regions earned the prestigious honor.
Williamson, a native of Hanover, won medalist honors at the Ivy League Championship for the second time in his career this year, earning a spot on the All-Ivy First Team for a third consecutive season. He went on to play in the NCAA East Regional, hosted by Virginia Tech, and tied for 10th place in the field of 75 golfers.
For the season, Williamson played 22 rounds with a stroke average of 72.4 and finished among the top 10 in eight of the nine tournaments in which he participated, including four top-five showings.
