Williamson secured his spot in the 64-player match-play field with birdies on his last two holes to finish at 2-under-par (68) for his second round and 2-under for the tournament (140). He birdied the par-3 17th and the par-5 18th to earn his spot.

He shot a 1-over-par (73) in the second round to finish the tournament at 1-over-par (143). He finished in a tie for 81st. He was 1-under through nine holes in his second round, but he finished two-over on his final nine holes. Pleat's second round was split over two days. He played his first nine on Tuesday, and then finished his second round on Wednesday after another delay due to fog.
