No. 8 Women's Squash Drops Match to Fifth-Ranked Trinity, 9-0

HARTFORD, CONN. —The eighth-ranked Dartmouth women's squash team lost at fifth-ranked Trinity on Saturday, 9-0. It dropped the Big Green to 3-4 overall and the Bantams improved to 10-2.

The loss ended a two-match winning streak for Dartmouth. Despite not winning a match, the Big Green sent three of the nine matches to four games. Junior Becky Lau (Toronto, Ontario) fell in four games at second singles, 11-8, 14-12, 7-11, 12-10.

At the No. 7 spot, sophomore Katherine Nimmo (Wellesley, Mass.) took Andrea Echeverria to four games but lost, 11-8, 10-12, 11-5, 11-3. Freshman Helena Darling (New York, N.Y.) lost in four games at the ninth spot, 11-13, 11-4, 11-3, 11-6.

Dartmouth goes back out on the road next weekend when it plays at Cornell at Saturday at 12 p.m. and at Columbia at Sunday at 12 p.m.
