No. 7 Men's Squash Drops Match to No. 3 Yale, 6-3

HANOVER, N.H. – Just over one week after losing to third-ranked Yale at home, 6-3, the Bulldogs defeated seventh-ranked Dartmouth men's squash on Saturday, 6-3, in the consolation bracket of the Potter Cup (A Division).

The Big Green (9-8) won at the top two spots and earned a win at the No. 8 position. At the top spot, junior Chris Hanson (Greenwich, Conn.) bested Kenneth Chan, 9-11, 11-9, 11-2, 11-8. Senior Nick Sisodia (Chicago, Ill.) earned an 11-6, 11-8, 11-8 victory at second singles. The third win came from junior Alex Kurth (Tenafly, N.J.) who beat Joseph Roberts in the No. 8 spot, 11-8, 3-11, 11-2, 11-7.

Yale (15-2) won third through seventh singles, but Dartmouth senior Luke Lee (Seoul, Korea) almost pulled out a victory in the third position. Lee fell to John Roberts, 4-11, 11-8, 12-10, 9-11, 11-6.

The Big Green finish their play at the Potter Cup (A Division) on Sunday when they play Franklin & Marshall in the seventh-place match at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
