Home Sweet Home
After wrapping up an eight-game road trip, Dartmouth returns home for the first time since playing Colgate on Nov. 24. During their road swing, the Big Green went 5-3-0, winning five of their last six after dropping back-to-back contests to Harvard and Northeastern to start the trip. Inside Thompson Arena this season, the Green and White are 1-1-2 with their last win coming against New Hampshire on Nov. 6.

Stretch run
Dartmouth wrapped-up its non-conference slate with a 4-2 victory at Vermont Wednesday evening. The Big Green now close out their 2012-13 campaign with 13 ECAC Hockey games looking to move up from their current sixth-place standing. Down the stretch in 2011-12, the team from the Upper Valley went 9-3-0 in its last 12 conference games. They are looking for another strong finish this season heading into the weekend with two straight victories.

Forfar Honored
After registering the first multi-goal game of her young career in a 6-0 win at Union, freshman Ailish Forfar was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week. Forfar continued her strong play in Burlington as she netted her second game-winner of the season and added an assist against Vermont. The East Gwillinbury, Ontario, native now has back-to-back multi-point games and four goals in the team's last five games.

Fantastic Freshmen
The Class of 2016 continued its strong play, as three of the four goal-scorers against the Catamounts were first-year players. Lindsey Allen had her second straight multi-point game, tallying a goal and an assist against UVM. Olivia Whitford had another strong showing as she registered an assist and was +2.

Stacey's Return
After missing the last three games to compete with the Canadian National Women's Under 22/Development Team in the 2013 Meco Cup, freshman Laura Stacey returned to the Dartmouth lineup and picked up a goal and an assist in the process. Stacey's fourth marker of the year tied the game at 1-1 in the first period, while assisting on Forfar's game-winner early in the second. Stacey was also +2.

Even Offensive Distribution
The Green and White had four players with multi-point games against the Catamounts. Allen, Forfar, Stacey and sophomore Karlee Odland each had a goal and an assist. For Odland, it was the first time she picked up more then one point in a game in her career. Through 16 games, Dartmouth has six players who have scored at least four goals and nine players who have five or more assists.

Holdcroft Holds Strong
Junior Lindsay Holdcroft had another quality outing as she stopped 22-of-24 shots against Vermont. Holdcroft picked up her eighth win of the season, which ranks fourth best in ECAC Hockey, heading into a big weekend of conference action. Her 2.24 goals-against average is currently sixth best in the conference.

Special Teams
Dartmouth's penalty killers continued their impressive run, killing all five of Vermont's power-play chances on Wednesday. The Big Green have now killed seven straight penalties. The Green and White are fourth in ECAC Hockey, killing 84.9% of opponents' power plays this season. On the power-play, the offensive woes continued as they went 0-for-4 against the Catamounts.

Scouting The Bobcats
Offense abounds for Quinnipiac as they lead the conference in goals scored (69) and are second in assists (104). The Bobcats enter Friday night's matchup the winners of five straight. After dropping back-to-back games to New Hampshire and Boston College in mid-November, the Bobcats have outscored their opponents 21-5. Last time out, QU shutout Princeton, 4-0, to pick up its eighth ECAC Hockey win of the season. The Bobcats are led by junior Kelly Babstock who is tops in the conference in goals (20) and points (40). Sophomore Nicole Kosta is another offensive weapon as she leads the conference with 31 assists. Victoria Vigilanti has proven formidable in net as she has racked up an 11-5-1 record with a goals-against average of 2.25 and a save percentage of .898.

Scouting The Tigers
Princeton enters the weekend losers of four of their last five. The Tigers are led offensively by a pair of seniors, Kelly Cooke and Corey Stearns. Stearns leads the team in assists with 17 and Cooke is its top goal-scorer with 11. Between the pipes, freshman Kimberly Newell has seen most of the time starting 16 games, while earning a 5-9-2 record with a .906 save percentage. After opening the season with two straight wins the Tigers then lost their next three. It's been a season of streaks for Princeton as it has had two losing streaks of three and one of four. Only once this season have they won back-to-back games and that came in late November when they topped Ohio State, 2-1, and Union, 3-0.

Against The teams earlier this Year
Dartmouth opened its season with a 3-1 victory at Princeton on Oct. 27. The Big Green scored first when Odland found the back of the net and never looked back. It was a different story against the Bobcats as the Green and White fell, 8-3 at the TD Bank Sports Center. QU jumped out to an early two-goal lead and after Allen made it to 2-1 mid-way through the second, the Bobcats scored four unanswered to seal the victory.

Against The Squads All-Time
Dartmouth is 9-4-2 all-time and under head coach Mark Hudak against Quinnipiac. The Big Green are 30-39-6 against Princeton all-time, while posting a record of 9-6-2 under Hudak.

First 40 Minutes
The key for the Big Green is to hold a lead after 40 minutes of play. When leading through two periods, the Green and White are 8-0-0 this season, a figure that reached its current state after the team held a 4-2 advantage going into the third against UVM. When trailing after two periods they are 0-4-1.

Bounce Back
Since losing back-to-back games to Harvard on Nov. 30 and Northeastern on Dec. 5, the Green have won five of their last six, while outscoring the competition 25-9. The lone set-back during the run for Dartmouth came at Rensselaer when its third period surge fell short.

Hobeika's Run
Senior co-captain Jenna Hobeika is capping her career off in Hanover nicely with four goals and eight assists through 16 games. Since Dec. 6, the Alpine, N.J., native has tallied a point in six of the teams last seven games. During that stretch, the top-line forward has scored three markers and had three multi-point games.
