HARTFORD, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's squash team fell to sixth-ranked Trinity, 7-2, in Hartford, Conn.

With the loss, the Big Green drop to 2-2, while the Bantams improve to 3-1

The evening started well for Dartmouth when junior Maddie Fraser came from behind to win her match 3-2. In the final game, Fraser edged her opponent, 12-10, for her third straight victory of the season. Meanwhile, freshman Emma Roberts fought hard to tie her match, 1-1, before losing two close games. Sophomore Rebecca Brownell faced tough opposition and lost in straight games.

Sophomore Janel Gaube continued to play well for the Green, earning a victory in three games, bringing her match streak to three straight. Despite a good effort, sophomore Zainab Molani couldn't take a game from her Trinity opponent, losing 3-0. Senior Tori Dewey also lost in straight games.

Senior Lydie McKenzie played well, pushing her opponent to a tie in the third game before falling 3-0.

Dartmouth returns home to the Berry Squash Courts on Sat. Jan. 9 when the Big Green take on Princeton at noon.
