BUFFALO, N.Y. – On the second day of the 2015 NCAA Division I Zone 'A' Diving Regional Championships at Buffalo's Alumni Area Natatorium on Tuesday, Brett Gillis competed on the 3-meter board.
In the preliminary round of 49 divers, the Big Green junior ended up taking 15th place with a score of 312.85. After advancing to the finals, Gillis ultimately finished in 17th place with 610.90 points. Michael Mosca of Harvard won the event with a score of 817.45.
Gillis opened the championship on Monday by coming in 23rd place on the 1-meter diving board with a score of 259.05, finishing just a handful of points ahead of Boston College's Cole Malatesta in 24th.
The final day of the meet will take place on Wednesday, with platform prelims taking place soon after 12 p.m.
