RALEIGH, N.C. — The Dartmouth men's golf team sit in 11th place after 18 holes at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State. The Big Green trails leader and host North Carolina State by 28 strokes and shot a 304 on Saturday.

James Chapman leads the course along with teammates Carter Simon and David Cooke. Chapman is 6-under and is followed by Simon and Cooke at 5-and-4-under, respectively. In all, 13 golfers sit under-par including Dartmouth's Scott Jaster, who is tied for eighth and shot a 1-under 70.

NC State is in first and shot a 276. Former ACC foe Maryland is tied for second with George Mason at 284. Ivy League members Penn and Columbia are tied in fourth.

Charles Cai is tied for 29th and shot a 74. Dylan Rusk is one behind him in 38th and carded a 4-over 75. Ian Kelsey, Charlie Edler and Sean Fahey rounded out the Big Green card shooting a 77,78 and 79, respectively.

Rusk shot well on par-3 scoring holes with a 2-under, as did Edler on par-5 scoring. Jaster is 1-under on par-4 approaches and has five birdies.

The Big Green will conclude the event on Sunday morning.
