Game 1 was a showdown between the team's top two pitchers as senior Morgan McCalmon took the circle for Dartmouth and Katie Orona got the start for Brown. Facing the top half of the Bears' lineup in the seventh, McCalmon retired the first two batters she faced before giving up a double. The Norman, Oklahoma native got Lotz to fly out for the final out and the victory.
In Game 2 sophomore Breanna Ethridge went to the circle for the Dartmouth where she pitched a complete game allowing just five hits through seven innings for her eighth win of the season. The Big Green grabbed an early 1-0 lead when Lara singled to third and advanced to third on Miller's single.
