HANOVER, N.H. – The ninth-ranked Dartmouth women's squash team got back to winning ways with a dominant, 9-0 victory over No. 14 Middlebury at the Berry Squash Courts on Sunday afternoon.
With the victory, the Big Green improve to 2-4 overall, while the Panthers fell to 8-5.
Freshmen Julia Potter, Junnat Anwar and juniors Becky Brownell, Zainab Molani, and Janel Gaube all won straightforward matches in three games.
Senior Jacqueline Barnes and freshmen Jill Nehrbas made their debut at the No. 9 position, as both started off by winning the first game in extra points. They found their stride by winning the next two games in a one-sided manner.
Sophomore Emma Roberts had a close match winning the first game before losing the second in extra points. She then won the third and forth games seamlessly en route to the 9-0 win.
Dartmouth returns to the court next Sunday when the Big Green travel to No. 15 Drexel at 10 a.m.
