THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
The Dartmouth field hockey team is on the road this weekend for a pair of games, starting with an Ivy League contest against Columbia on Friday before a non-conference match-up at UMass Lowell on Friday.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green dropped two games last weekend at home, falling to Yale, 4-3, on Saturday and again to Northeastern on Sunday, 5-1.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
•   Columbia is two games above .500 overall this season, while .500 in Ivy games at 2-2.
•   Jennifer Trieschman is the team's leader in both goals (8) and points (19) through 12 games this season. Kelsey Farkas is the assist leader with four.
•   Katie Dempsey has started all 12 games and posts an impressive 2.01 goals against average to go along with an equally impressive .752 save percentage.
•   The Lions are coming off a 5-4 win against Fairfield that needed a shootout to determine a winner. The victory snapped a two-game slide for Columbia after losses to Princeton (4-0) and Penn (2-0) where it didn't register a goal in 140 minutes.
AGAINST COLUMBIA
•   Dartmouth came away from last year's matchup with a 3-2 overtime win in Hanover.
•   After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, the Green and White bounced back to score the next three. Katie Spanos notched the first before the end of the half, while Tatum Schultz's second of the season forced overtime where Taylor Hantman slammed home a rebound almost seven minutes into the overtime for her first of the season.
SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
•   Lowell is 7-7 overall this season, but has struggled against America East competition with a 1-5 league record in 2018.
•   The River Hawks have a formidable scoring duo at the top of the lineup as Anouk Lalande and Torrie Huk have combined for 49 points. Lalande leads the team with 12 goals and 25 points, while Huk has 10 goals and four helpers for 24 points.
•   In goal, it's been a healthy dose of Eva Berkhout. She has a 1.70 GAA and a .730 save percentage in 986 minutes this season.
•   Prior to Sunday's game with the Big Green, UML will travel to the Granite State to play a conference game against UNH.
AGAINST UML
•   The last time these two teams met was back in the 2015 season opener.
•   The River Hawks won that game in overtime, 3-2.
•   Gemma Bautista, Evie Bird and Jessica Valvano are the only three players currently on the roster with any experience playing against Lowell. However, none of those three players factored into the scoring that day in Hanover.
STILL LEADING
•   Thanks to her goal against Yale in the 63rd minute, junior Katie Spanos continues to lead the team with six this season.
•   The Pennsylvania native also has a team-leading 13 points this season.
IN SECOND
•   Two goals back of Spanos are a pair of Dartmouth players: Kira Koehler and Gracyn Campbell.
•   Koehler scored her fourth of the season Sunday, making her the lone player to find the back of the cage against the Huskies.
•   Campbell's fourth of the season was the afternoon before as she scored Dartmouth's second goal against Yale.
ALMOST TO 150
•   Head coach Amy Fowler needs just one win to reach 150 for her career, all of which have come on the Big Green sidelines.
FOLLOW ALONG
•   Friday's game will be carried live on ESPN+ as part of the Ivy League's package.
•   Sunday's game will be streamed through America East TV.
