THIS WEEKEND
•   The Dartmouth men's hockey team remains home for the second week of the 2018-19 season, playing host to No. 19 Princeton on Friday and No. 15 Quinnipiac on Saturday.
•   Friday's game vs. the Tigers will be carried live on NESN.
LAST TIME OUT
•   The Big Green are coming off a thrilling 7-6 overtime win against visiting Harvard last Saturday night.
•   Sophomore Quin Foreman scored the winner just 18 seconds into the fourth period thanks to a great play that started with Will Graber knocking the puck off the Crimson defender's stick. Shane Sellar picked up the loose puck inside the blueline and sent a centering feed to the far post for Foreman to knock it into the net to give the Green and White the win.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
•   Princeton comes to Hanover as the league's defending postseason champion after an improbable run to the crown in Lake Placid that culminated with an overtime win against Clarkson in the title game.
•   The Tigers have a ton of offensive punch thanks to All-Americans Ryan Kuffner and Max Véronneau, who each had over 50 points last season.
•   Princeton is No. 19 in the latest national poll after a loss at Penn State to open the year. Quinnipiac is No. 15 thanks to a 5-0 start to the regular season.
•   The Bobcats posted a sweep of AIC last weekend in a home-and-home series that featured a 9-2 win Saturday in Hamden.
•   Senior Brandon Fortunato leads the team with eight points (1-7-8), while Odeen Tufto and Chase Priskie both had four goals.
GOALS IN OPENER
•   Dartmouth's seven goals in the season-opening game marked the most in the first game of a season since an 8-5 win against Niagara to start the 1998-99 campaign.
•   A 14-5 win against Norwich started the 1964-65 season and a 14-2 victory against Boston College to open the 1942-43 season are the most in an opener in program history.
•   In total, Dartmouth has scored seven or more goals in 29-of-112 season-opening games.
•   Since Bob Gaudet came to Dartmouth as a player in the fall in 1977, Dartmouth has only scored seven goals in an opener just five times, making the majority of those 29 games from the early years of the century-old program.
TRIO WITH A TRIO
•   Drew O'Connor (1-2-3), Shane Sellar (2-1-3) and Will Graber all registered three points in the opener.
•   The last time any Dartmouth player had three points in the first game of the season was J.T. Wyman (2-1-3) in the 2007-08 opener at Vermont, a 4-2 Big Green win.
•   The year before (2006-07) saw future NHLers David Jones (1-2-3) and Tanner Glass (0-3-3) each reach three points in a 5-2 win at Harvard for the first of 18 wins that season.
THAT WAS FAST
•   Dartmouth has played exactly 50 overtime games since the start of 2010.
•   In those 50 games, Dartmouth and its opponents have each won 11 times with 28 contests ending in a tie.
•   Of the 22 total wins, none have come faster into the overtime period than Saturday's victory that saw Foreman score 18 seconds in.
•   Only twice in those 22 wins has the goal scored come inside the opening minute. Tucker Brockett scored 45 seconds into an Oct. 25, 2013 game at the Prudential Center in Newark to give Princeton a 3-2 win. Tyler Sikura's Feb. 21, 2014 winner came 51 seconds into sudden death at Brown for a 2-1 Dartmouth victory.
AWARD SEASON
•   For their play against Harvard, O'Connor and Sellar were recognized with weekly accolades from the ECAC Hockey offices.
•   For the second time in his career, Sellar was named the Player of the Week. He was also honored last February following a six-point night at RPI.
•   O'Connor was tabbed as the top rookie as he tied for the conference lead for points by a freshman, but did so in just one game.
